The Team were alerted at 09:00am by a local farmer to rescue 'Corris', an 18 month old foxhound who had become stuck on steep ground on the flanks of Trwyn Y Graig.
Corris had been working the area with her owners on the previous Sunday, and got herself stuck on a ledge. Attempts to recover her by the owners proved unsuccessful, and the Team were summoned to assist.
Several Team Members arrived to assist, and made short work of setting up a technical rope rescue system to effect the rescue of the dog. A Team Member then abseiled down the crag towards the stricken dog, and was able to reach the ledge where she had spent the last 6 cold and lonely nights.
After some enticing with a few digestives and several attempts to bite her rescuer, Corris was evacuated from the crag safe and well. She did not have any injuries, and was in good spirits as she was returned to her grateful owners.
The operation concluded at 13:00pm
